Welcome to an experimance about finding and losing yourself. knock knock who’s there is a workshop + performance where YOU, the audience will participate in ways that you get to meet yourself over and over again.
Through a montage of visuals, sounds, movement, art and text, the experimance will create a space for playful exploration and discovery. Through the experimance, you will recall personal narratives that will make you wonder about yourself in various situations. You will make decisions on your personal preferences and public choices. You will travel a fictional universe and give yourself some super powers. You will express and understand yourself through words, numbers, colours, shapes and sounds.
At the end of the experimance, you will meet yourself again, embrace yourself and step into your own shoes, again and feel different.
What is an Experimance?
You can call it an experiment within a performance or an experience facilitated by performance or an exploration of a new kind of performance. This is a process that blurs lines between the audience and the performers. The audience become participants, where they make choices and perform different tasks through the performance. At the end of the process, the audience would have created something for themselves, physically and emotionally.
